On Monday, July 11th, Goose suffered a fracture to his front-right humerus bone where it connects to the elbow joint. Because of the placement of the fracture, the stage of his growth-plate development, future functionality, and a laundry list of other factors, I have made the decision to move forward and schedule his amputation. Goose is just shy of 5 months and weighs 5 pounds. It’s been an incredibly challenging week as I have spent countless hours on the phone with our vet and surgeons contemplating what the best route is moving forward.
Hello! My name is Goose. Thank you for having me.
